The Trump family has officially confirmed the divorce rumours

Following 12 years of marriage
Donald Trump Jr. and his wife Vanessa announced their separation today, after 12 years of marriage, tying the knot in 2005.
It has been reported that Vanessa, a former model and the mother of Donald Trump Jr’s five children, filed for an uncontested divorce in a New York court, with the couple releasing the following joint statement:
‘After 12 years of marriage, we have decided to go our separate ways. We ask for you privacy during this time.’
There had been rumours circulating Donald and Vanessa’s marriage after the couple hadn't been photographed together for four months, and according to multiple sources via Page Six, were supposedly living separate lives.
’The problems have been there for a long time,’ a source reportedly told Page Six days before the announcement. ‘The couple had hoped to stay together during the president’s time in office, but it is getting harder to resolve their issues. He’s never there.’
Vanessa Trump has kept a low profile compared to the others in the Trump extended family, shooting onto our radar this year when she was hospitalised after opening an envelope of suspicious white powder addressed to her husband. Something that Donald Trump Jr. commented on at the time, announcing that he was 'thankful that Vanessa & [his] children are safe and unharmed.'
