From that pixie crop to those red carpet up dos, Emma Watson is one A-lister who loves to experiment when it comes to her hair.

Her beauty look has transformed dramatically throughout her career (let’s not forget that she was only 10 years-old when she first hit our screens as Hermione Granger) and we’ve literally watched her grow to become one of the UK’s most loved actresses and one of the world’s most stylish stars.

Emma has chopped and changed her hairstyle regularly over the years and she certainly isn’t a star who is afraid of a complete makeover. When she first got her famous pixie cut back in 2010 (in a ‘liberating’ rebel cut, Emma chopped off The Hermione as soon as she had wrapped the Harry Potter franchise) she set one of the biggest hair trends of the year, and led the way in showing everyone how versatile short hair can be.

Emma’s red carpet up-dos, too, have always been exciting, and from glam hair accessories to clever twists and plaits, she always brings a little something different to the beauty conversation. She also works a side swept style like no other, and regularly moves her parting around to make the same hair cut look constantly different.

Emma’s always been a brunette naturally, but she has experimented with soft honey highlights when she was younger and more recently has been spotted working an ombre bob.

The one (and perhaps only) style Emma’s never tried is extra long locks – we wonder whether she’s waiting until everyone else is ‘so over them’ before she pounces and brings them back on trend all over again?

First up in our hair style file, Emma worked this neat knot on the red carpet at the premiere of Colonia in February 2016.
