Vivienne Westwood exhibition arrives in Milan

Vivienne Westwood brings her design exhibition to Milan

MILAN FASHION WEEK has begun, and though a host of big names such as Versace and Dolce & Gabbana will be showing their spring/summer 2008 collections, the hot ticket is for an exhibition of Vivienne Westwood’s designs.

The exhibition was first seen in 2004 at London’s Victoria and Albert Museum, and is now making a worldwide tour, landing in Milan just in time for fashion week. Showing at the city’s Palazzo Reale Museum, the retrospective contains 150 garments from the British Dame’s design archives.

Westwood will not be showing her latest work in Italy, and will instead be in her favoured Paris next week to show spring/summer 2008.
