Troublesome trio Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner were on hand to pick up the prestigious gongs
Hollywood’s finest were out in force at the glittering People’s Choice Awards in Los Angeles last night, with a whole host of famous faces gracing the stage – including troublesome trio Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner, who swept the board with four awards for hit flick, Twilight Eclipse.
The threesome took time out from filming Breaking Dawn, flying in specially to attend the event, and picked up gongs for favourite movie and favourite drama, as well as the prestigious People’s Choice trophy.
‘I can’t believe this. You guys are unreal! For movie number 3 already?’ heartthrob Taylor joked to the audience.
And Kristen Stewart – who has recently returned to the US after a New Year’s break on the Isle of Wight – beat off stiff competition from the likes of Angelina Jolie and Julia Roberts to take home the favourite movie actress award.
‘Thank you so much, I’ve never been to the People’s Choice awards before,’ she gushed. ‘I was a vampire this morning in Baton Rouge, so this is really weird.’
Other big winners on the night included Katy Perry – who took home awards for favourite female artist and favourite online sensation – and the cast of Glee, who won favourite TV comedy, and favourite comedy actress for Jane Lynch.
Country singer Taylor Swift, Disney stars Selena Gomez and Zac Efron and pirate Johnny Depp also won prizes.
