Jennifer Lawrence reveals she hasn’t let her Oscar win or stardom affect her attitude
Jennifer Lawrence has proved her principles, and spending habits, will never change despite her incredible fame and fortune. Instead of blowing her hard-earned millions on frivolous purchases the actress reveals she has the same value for money that was instilled in her from a young age.
Speaking to Fabulous magazine, Jennifer Lawrence said: ‘I was raised to have value for money, to have respect for money, even though you have a lot of it. That’s why mini bars are difficult, because it’s like yes, I can afford a $6 [£4] Snickers bar, but there’s just something wrong with that!’
But it’s not just passing on hotel mini bars that shows the star’s down-to-earth attitude towards money, she hasn’t, as yet, bought a posh mansion in the Hollywood Hills or is she driving around in a sports car.
She added: ‘I still drive my same car I’ve been driving for a long time and I haven’t bought a house yet.’
But with back-to-back filming on location, Jennifer clearly isn’t in one place long enough to have a permanent home!
Despite her glamourous lifestyle of Dior dresses, Oscar wins and incredible film roles Jennifer Lawrence hasn’t let any of it affect her, ‘I just constantly feel so lucky,’ she said. ‘I don’t really have time to feel cocky.’
But she’s every right to be!
