Angelina Jolie Visits Syrian Refugee Children

The actress travelled to Lebanon with the UN and made a moving speech on behalf of the refugees

Angelina Jolie has just a few days left before her big Oscars appearance, so you might think she’d be busy with dress fittings and last-minute beauty procedures.

But she’s not your typical celebrity.

Instead, the actress has been spending the last several days meeting with young Syrian refugees at a settlement in Lebanon.

As a United Nations special envoy, Angelina has done many humanitarian trips over the years. During this visit, her focus was to highlight the displacement that Syria’s three-year conflict has caused and make the public aware of how much the people are suffering.
