The Duchess of Cambridge has embarked on a new skincare regime recommended to her by Camilla
She may seem an unlikely source of beauty tips, but Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall has reportedly been dishing out skincare advice to Kate Middleton as she attempts to improve her complexion.
It’s understood that Camilla has been championing beauty therapist Deborah Mitchell’s bee sting facial and urged the Duchess of Cambridge to give it a whirl. The £165 skincare treatment has been hailed as a ‘non-surgical facelift’ that has a natural but similar result to Botox.
Mitchell, a former beauty queen who has been treating Camilla for the past six years, has recently been making regular trips to Buckingham Palace and Highgrove to look after Kate’s skin, according to sources.
The beauty therapist has been giving Kate regular bee sting facials, which tricks the skin into thinking it has been stung, which increases blood flow to the skin’s surface, boosting collagen production and cell renewal.
As well as treatments, the skincare entrepreneur also has her own range of beauty products – Heaven skincare – including a bee venom mask, which works similarly to the facial but for use at home. Other celebrity fans of Mitchell’s beauty range and treatments include Victoria Beckham, Emilia Fox, and Kylie and Dannii Minogue.
