And it makes perfect sense…

Game of Thrones made its long-awaited return to our screens this week, with season seven starting in dramatic fashion.

‘Dragonstone’ was a particularly big episode for Arya Stark, with the youngest Stark daughter getting revenge for her family by murdering the Freys. However it got even more unbelievable when she ran into Ed Sheeran in the woods, where the singer – dressed as a Lannister soldier – sang to the group.

The cameo didn’t go down all that well with the public and as a result of the online hate that followed, Ed Sheeran has actually deleted his Twitter account.

With all of the Ed Sheeran drama and its divisive reception, the internet has been preoccupied for days. But now that the dust has settled on the controversial cameo, fans have started looking deeper into Dragonstone, searching for any subtle clues or spoilers of what’s to come.

Being GOT fans, they managed it – finding a hidden message in season seven’s first episode, potentially implying how a major character will die.

Spoiler alert – it looks like Cersei Lannister’s days are numbered.

We all remember the prophecy Cersei received in season five, predicting that she would become Queen – something that proved accurate. Well, fans have pointed out that the original scene in the book also includes a forecast that Cersei would be choked to death by her ‘valongar’ – translated as little brother.

Fans have been rallying behind the theory, but while the Mad Queen and GOT fans were quick to blame her youngest brother Tyrion as her future murderer, it turns out it could be someone else.

The season opened on Cersei and Jaime – her twin who is technically also her younger brother. The two characters were standing on the map of Westeros, plotting their plan of action, but what few fans noticed was that Cersei was standing on the area of the map referred to as 'The Neck', while Jaime was standing on the area known as 'The Fingers'.

That seems pretty legit to us.
