The film that launched a thousand column inches - Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie first met on the set of action flick Mr and Mrs Smith, where they played the film's eponymous married couple. Pitt split from then wife Jennifer Aniston during filming, and the rumour mill immediately went into overdrive, with whispers that the on-screen romance had spilled off-screen. Although both parties adamantly denied an affair, Jolie would later say that she and Pitt 'fell in love' on the set.
