Renée Zellweger in the red at latest premiere
It's pretty hard for a Hollywood starlet to fade into the background at her own premiere, but that's exactly what happened to Renée Zellweger last night, thanks to an unfortunate fashion faux pas. Although she may be a pro when it comes to red carpet dressing, it was the red that proved the problem at the premiere of My One And Only, when her scarlet dress proved the perfect match to the surrounding carpet.
The colour coordination may have proved a problem for the paps, but the 39-year-old actress looked ravishing in red, and seemed thrilled to be on the campaign trail for her latest flick.
The film sees Zellweger take on the role of Anne Deveraux, a 1950s housewife, who leaves her adulterous husband, and embarks on a road trip to find a new one. She stars alongside Kevin Bacon, Eric McCormack and Chris Noth.
Raving to reporters that she couldn't wait to tackle the role, she revealed, 'I absolutely couldn’t wait to play her. The material is gorgeous.'
