Meghan Markle's latest evening dress might be our fave yet

The Duchess of Sussex has been nailing pregnancy style (though did we expect anything less of her?), and last night's outfit might be our favourite yet, though the Oscar de la Renta she wore in Australia is a close second.

Meghan Markle attended the Royal Variety Performance in London, and looked stunning in a black evening gown, embellished with black and white sequins in an intricate leaf pattern.

The dress, by Safiyaa, also gave us a glimpse of her growing bump. The brand is actually London-based and was created by desingner Daniela Karnuts, and while you can't buy that exact dress (it was likely custom made), you can buy other gorgeous designs on Net-A-Porter.

She wore her hair in her signature updo, and accessorised with her favourite Birks diamonds and pearl earrings, which she's worn a few times before, including her first solo engagement at an exhibition in Picadilly.

She was accompanied by Prince Harry, who wore a classic black tuxedo for the red carpet event. The couple were there to support the work of the Royal Variety Charity, which helps support the sick, elderly and impoverished members of the entertainment industry.

Penny Goldstone is the Digital Fashion Editor at Marie Claire, covering everything from catwalk trends to royal fashion and the latest high street and Instagram must-haves.

Penny grew up in France and studied languages and law at the Sorbonne Nouvelle University in Paris before moving to the UK for her MA in multimedia journalism at Bournemouth University. She moved to the UK permanently and has never looked back (though she does go back regularly to stock up on cheese and wine).

Although she's always loved fashion - she used to create scrapbooks of her favourite trends and looks, including Sienna Miller and Kate Moss' boho phase - her first job was at MoneySavingExpert.com, sourcing the best deals for everything from restaurants to designer sales.

However she quit after two years to follow her true passion, fashion journalism, and after many years of internships and freelance stints at magazines including Red, Cosmopolitan, Stylist and Good Housekeeping, landed her dream job as the Digital Fashion Editor at Marie Claire UK.

Her favourite part of the job is discovering new brands and meeting designers, and travelling the world to attend events and fashion shows. Seeing her first Chanel runway IRL at Paris Fashion Week was a true pinch-me moment.
