I think we can all agree that Amal Clooney was hands down the best dressed royal wedding guest, despite a valiant last minute outfit change by Oprah.

But whilst Meghan Markle's Stella McCartney evening wedding dress has been available to buy for a little while, Amal's, also by the designer, wasn't. Until now.

Available at MATCHESFASHION.COM for a cool £1,250, the dress is even called the 'Amal tie-back crepe dress'.

It features an elegant tie detail at the back, a lightly pleated square neckline and nipped in waist.

On the site, the dress is described as, 'Worn by Amal Clooney to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s wedding, Stella McCartney’s canary-yellow Amal dress will make an elegant statement at a special occasion. It’s crafted to a vintage-inspired silhouette with a lightly pleated square neckline and ties at the back which flow over the figure-flattering shape. Style it with metallic accessories and glittering pumps for a sophisticated edit.'

At the royal wedding, Amal accessorised with a canary yellow hat and gold court shoes, and the whole effect was gloriously radiant.

It's a bold look, and of course, it's not cheap, but it sure looks worth it.

Stella McCartney previously spoke about designing the dress specifically for Amal, telling Vogue, 'She is the real deal. It was a very natural, effortless experience. I think that's why it was so well-received.'

She moved to the UK permanently and has never looked back (though she does go back regularly to stock up on cheese and wine).

Although she's always loved fashion - she used to create scrapbooks of her favourite trends and looks, including Sienna Miller and Kate Moss' boho phase - her first job was at MoneySavingExpert.com, sourcing the best deals for everything from restaurants to designer sales.

However she quit after two years to follow her true passion, fashion journalism, and after many years of internships and freelance stints at magazines including Red, Cosmopolitan, Stylist and Good Housekeeping, landed her dream job as the Digital Fashion Editor at Marie Claire UK.

Her favourite part of the job is discovering new brands and meeting designers, and travelling the world to attend events and fashion shows. Seeing her first Chanel runway IRL at Paris Fashion Week was a true pinch-me moment.
