The British Fashion Council has teamed up with auction site eBay.co.uk to launch the second season of BFC Contemporary shop – an online pop-up boutique that will launch during London Fashion Week on Friday. The virtual store is part of the BFC's new fashion initiative, BFC Contemporary, which aims to mentor and promote rising UK fashion and accessory designers.
You’ll be able to get your hands on limited-edition accessories, created by five emerging Brit designers: Alexis Barrell, Georgia Hardinge, PAPER LONDON, Prism and Zoë Jordan. Fash-fans will have the opportunity to choose from a collection of exclusive silk scarves and clutch bags (we’ve got our eye on Zoë Jordan’s glacial print ‘Ice Nitro’ leather clutch, below). And all designer pieces from the collection are priced under £100. Win!

'The second season of BFC Contemporary’s inaugural year brilliantly showcases the diversity and talent associated with the UK’s fashion industry,' says Caroline Rush, CEO British Fashion Council. 'With invaluable support from eBay, these designers mark a new wave in British contemporary design, the rise of which we aim to fuel with this new initiative.'
The BFC Contemporary eBay store launched last season at London Fashion Week – with designers Alexis Barrell, Georgia Hardinge, PAPER LONDON and Zoë Jordan and Prism the first to receive support last year.
The BFC Contemporary eBay store will open 20th February until 11th March 2015 (go to: www.ebay.co.uk/bfc to shop the collection)
