The Texas based mum, who set a world record for the most watched Facebook Live video EVER MADE (racking up 150 million views) has apparently received an incredible $420,000 (£290,17,07) worth of gifts. How does an (admittedly hilarious) mum from the US manage to rack up that kind of income?

Well, to start with, Kohl’s, where she bought the mask from, gave her $3000 worth of gifts in the form of toys, gift cards and Chewbacca masks for her whole family. Which makes sense given how much incredible publicity she ended up getting them. In fact, they should probably be renaming their stores 'Candance's'.

Then there are the TV appearances. Candace has appeared on Good Morning America, and even did her own special Carpool Karaoke with James Cordon. MoneyMagazine have estimated the cost of her appearances would be around $7500.

The Payne family were also invited on a trip to Walt Disney World, which apparently adds on another $7500. The Late Late Show (James Corden's talk show) also flew Candace and her and her family out to the Fan Expo Dallas convention – which she attended a meet and greet with Chewbacca himself, Peter Mayhew – that's another $2000.

On top of the trips, celebrity meet-ups and gifts, the biggest donation has come from Southeastern University, who offered Candace and her entire family full scholarships, totally an incredible $400,000, which makes up the bulk of the sum the Payne family have reportedly made. The exciting news is, if you're studying in the US, the amazing Chewbacca Mom could be coming to a campus near you...
