  • The secrets of the British bedroom

A study of 14,000 British people by the Society of Couple Psychoanalytic Psychotherapists found that we’re having less sex than the movies would have us think.

And British women are having much less of it than British men. 21% of women have no sex at all, 32% have it once a month and 44% once a month to once a week. While only 15% of men class themselves as having no sex.

Only a paltry 19% of British adults are classified as having high sexual frequency (three times a week or more), with the greatest percentage of those living in Scotland and the North of England.

Are you part of the 21% of women who don’t have sex? What is the longest you have ever gone without having sex and why? And what was it like when you finally got back in the game?
