Wait, how many people are trying to break into the Love Island villa every day?

Props to their security team.

Love Island 2018 is underway and while a lot of us thought we’d be watching it ironically (this writer included), we’re now hooked.

We want the water bottle with our name on, the endless beauty supply, but more than anything we want Jack Fincham as our boyfriend - don’t worry though, we’d never do that to Dani!

Yes, everyone’s desperate to get into that villa, but it emerged this week that some people are going to very extreme lengths to get there.

According to Alex (not Dr Love Alex, glasses Alex), there are daily break in attempts, something he only found out after leaving the villa.

The 28-year-old explained how over five people try to break their way into the Majorcan villa every single day, with the show employing a lot of security to keep them out.

‘When I left, I chatted with the guys who looked after us,’ he explained to the Daily Star. ‘They told me at least five people a day try to access that villa - but so far no one has got in.’

He continued: ‘They’re clearly doing a good job! I was impressed.’

So if you want to get into the Love Island villa, it looks like you still can - but you might have to break in to get there, so don't.

We’d just apply to be in the line-up for next year to be honest.
