Kate Middleton has got her pregnancy style down – looking pretty in pink at the Commonwealth Day Observance at Westminster Abbey this afternoon, joined by her hubby Wills. And it marks Kate’s final public appearance before she welcomes another prince or princess into the world.
The Duchess of Cambridge, who is due to give birth in just a couple of months’ time, opted for a Jackie O style – donning an elegant pink Alexander McQueen silk crepe coat with pearl buttons, which she paired with a pearl pink Jane Taylor hat for the occasion. Finishing off her pink ensemble with a matching pair of shoes and a satin clutch bag. Mmm, could Kate be hinting at the sex of her new arrival?
Regardless, her baby pink look gives us all a master class in how to wear the pretty pastels trend for SS15 – top to toe! And also how to make good use of what’s already in your wardrobe… yep, Kate Middleton wore the same Alexander McQueen coat back in 2013. When she attended the Trooping Colour parade at Buckingham Palace, just before the birth of her son, Prince George. An oldie, but a goodie!
Alexander McQueen is Middleton’s fashion go-to – she loves Sarah Burton’s elegant and chic designs. The label created her stunning lace wedding dress and that dreamy scarlet dress she wore for the Diamond Jubilee in 2012.
