James Corden's Carpool Karaoke: The Sia Edition

James Corden’s run of 2016 carpool Karaoke guests has been stellar. Adele, Chris Martin and Justin Bieber have all recently taken a ride on the passenger side while the radio blasts their songs, and the resulting singalongs have been outstanding.

The latest celebrity to cruise around with Corden is maverick hitmaker Sia.

As always, Sia was sporting her signature face-obscuring monochrome wig (accessorised with an oversize bow). First funny of the clip: it proved tricky for Sia to locate Corden’s car door – so he had to jump out and guide her to the vehicle. Proof Sia really can’t see a thing with those wigs on.

This edition of Carpool Karaoke kicked off with Chandelier and the pair pulled off some impressive harmonies (Corden included, the man has powerful pipes). Corden even took the opportunity to get some tips on honing his voice – quizzing Sia on how best to achieve that passionate growling thing she nails every time. Sia demos her undulating melody hooks and Corden mimics convincingly.

In the segment Sia also reveals why she is so protective of her privacy and always covers her face whenever cameras are around. She speaks candidly about the past experience that led her to the decision.
