The Duchess of Cambridge celebrates her birthday on 9th January, and it sounds like there could be a few surprises in store…
It’s thought William and Kate are set to attend the premiere of Steven Spielberg movie War Horse in London on Sunday, before making an appearance at a charity dinner.
And then it seems it’s over to Pippa, who has reportedly been put in charge of Kate’s birthday celebrations.
According to insiders, the younger Miss Middleton and Kate’s cheeky brother-in-law Prince Harry have been planning an eighties-themed party, to pay tribute to the year in which the birthday girl was born.
It’s thought Kate will also attend a separate small celebration with the royals, to mark the occasion.
Although sources say the Duchess has asked that friends make donations to charity rather than giving her birthday gifts, it’s thought Prince William has commissioned an oil portrait to celebrate her first year in the family.
Meanwhile, reports suggest the Queen will present Kate with her very own sparkling tiara.
