Pippa Middleton’s tome may have failed to set the book charts alight but it’s hoped things will pick up overseas
Pippa Middleton is embarking on a European tour to boost sales of her debut book, Celebrate, which has been translated into Dutch, French and Italian.
While UK sales failed to reach the dizzy heights predicted by Penguin’s reported £400,000 advance, the US market did fare somewhat better and now Kate Middleton’s sister is determined to storm the literary scenes a little closer to home.
Holland will play host to Pippa Middleton next Tuesday as she attends several book signings before being the guest of honour at an evening event, fo which she’ll no doubt have an incredible outfit.
Despite underwhelming sales of Pippa’s entertaining guide, Penguin aren’t complaining with a publishing source telling The Mirror: ‘Pippa has faced criticism but has managed to take it all with a pinch of salt. Penguin are really happy with the sales.’
