We can't imagine anyone - single or attached - actually benefitting from this information!

We know it's Valentine's Day, so you'll have to excuse us for not feeling very romantic about this new app.

TIME magazine has introduced a new app that's meant to predict your ideal marriage date. You just connect through Facebook and it pings out exactly how long you have left to get hitched - to the day.

Whether you're single or attached, we can't imagine the knowledge of whether or not you're past your marriage prime could be in any way useful.

And we can't think of anything less romantic than dropping that knowledge bomb on your partner. 'Just so you know, sweetheart, Facebook says we should get married in exactly 43 days.' Talk about pressure!

Luckily we can rest assured knowing that the algorithm for the prediction isn't exactly fool-proof. It simply calculates the median age of all your married friends. Does it factor in your relationship status? Or whether you actually want to get married? No and no.

The verdict? It is kind of fun to see your results - as long as you don't take them seriously.
