Emily Blunt has recently taken on the main character in the hotly anticipated film adaptation of Girl On A Train, and in celebration of one of our favourite British actresses, we're charting her best style moments so far.
Kicking off with this dazzling look at the HFPA Golden Globe Awards Gala in Los Angeles, Emily takes on the statement midi dress, and totally nails it. Polishing off her ultra-elegant ladylike look, the new mother-of-one slipped into a pair of standout heels and wore her glossy brunette locks pulled back neatly into a sleek updo.
Never one to shy away from a new fashion trend, over the years it seems Emily has take a few risks in the style stakes, and they have totally paid off, landing her a regulat spot on many best dressed lists. And it's easy to see why.
The beautiful actress has her pick of the crop when it comes to designers - most notably Chanel, Prada and Miu Miu - and seems to get it so right, time and time again.

The actress donned this chic tailored dove grey suit for the screening of The Great Buck Howard. This dress should have looked stunning but somehow it doesn't seem to flatter Emily Blunt at all. The deep purple hue is striking, the ruched bodice is interesting and the bejewelled waistline is gorgeous, but individually the touches don't add up. (22 February 2009)
