I'm not ashamed to say that I often look forward to washing my face at the end of a long day. And at Marie Claire, we're big fans of FOREO's revolutionary cleansing devices – for example, here's what happened when three staffers tried the FOREO Luna 3. I was lucky enough to get my hands the new LUNA mini 3 ahead of the launch date to try and, over time, I've definitely noticed my skin texture feeling smoother and looking clearer. It's simple to use (wet face, apply cleanser, turn on your FOREO and apply to skin), and I love the glow and plumpness to my skin post-cleansing.

As with all of FOREO's devices, the simplicity is a big draw, as you'll never need a replacement brush head for your cleansing device. And of course, you'll still be able to hook your LUNA Mini 3 up to the FOREO app and tailor your cleansing or massage routine to your skin's individual needs.

There's now also a 'Find My LUNA' feature within the app, enabling you to locate your beloved T-sonic™ cleanser if ever you lose sight of it.

Is the FOREO LUNA mini 3 good for the gym?

As well as being an excellent accompaniment to your daily skincare routine, LUNA mini 3 is a great post workout facial cleansing device. A couple of my co-workers love FOREO's current devices for the gym, but the LUNA mini 3 is even more convenient. Lighter and smaller in size (but by no means less powerful), it takes up less of that all-important gym bag space.

If you're not in the know when it comes to the cleansing power of FOREO devices, here's why it's even better for the gym. It removes 99.5% of dirt, oil and sweat after exercise or vigorous activity, leaving your skin readily prepped for your best moisturiser.

After a workout, the sweat, bacteria and skin cells are actually pretty harmful if left on your skin. Translation: breakouts and even infections. Post workout cleansing – when your skin has expelled most of the bacteria and dirt beneath the surface – eliminates this danger.

But that's not all, as it's important that you have good cleanse before exercising, too. Make-up can prevent your skin's natural detoxing process, blocking your pores and eventually leading to breakouts. By cleansing beforehand, you're not stopping the toxins from leaving your skin.

How to use the FOREO LUNA mini 3

1. Connect your LUNA mini 3 to the FOREO app via Bluetooth (to unlock before using it for the first time).

2. Dampen your face, apply your favorite cleanser to your LUNA mini 3 and hit the start button twice.

3. Glide LUNA mini 3’s touchpoints in circular motions over your face until the built-in timer shuts it off.

4. Rinse LUNA mini 3, pat-dry your face and continue with your skincare routine.

So you see, it really is that simple and easy to get a great cleanse using your smart skincare device.
