British men rated the second worst lovers in the world for being 'too lazy'

English men have been voted the second worst lovers in the world, only marginally better than the Germans.

A survey of over 15,000 women discovered that our nation's gentlemen are considered 'too lazy' in bed.

Englishmen were accused of letting their partners do all the work in the bedroom.

German men were thought to be 'too smelly', while Swedish misses voted their countrymen into third last place for being 'too quick'.

But if you're looking for some real romance, head to Spain.

Spanish men were top of the lovers' league, narrowly followed by Brazilians and Italians.

The poll quizzed women from 20 countries to rate their nations' performance between the sheets.

While Dutch men were considered 'too rough', Americans were accused of being 'too dominating' under the duvet.

Unsurprisingly, French men were thought to be great lovers, but spare a thought for the Scots - too loud, apparently...
