Sunshine, souks and swanky hotels... what else do you need?
If your looking to get away and get some hustle and bustle of a souk, beautiful endless desert then Marrakech is the place for you.

Stay At...
We stayed at the Mövenpick Hotel Mansour Eddahbi Marrakech, which offers an authentic welcome to the city. Located in the prestigious Hivernage district in Marrakech's city centre, just 4 km from the airport, the Mövenpick Hotel is close to the must-see historic landmarks and the Medina - the most perfect location to explore this magical city.
Thanks to the incredible location of the hotel, you can switch from the buzz of the souks, to the enchanting tranquilly of the Majorelle Garden in next to no time (seriously, this tropical paradise is a must-see). Nearby is also the Guéliz district, where you can explore the lively streets of Marrakech at your leisure, safe in the knowledge that your home-from-home is just a short walk away.
Rooms at Mövenpick Hotel Mansour Eddahbi & Palais des Congrès Marrakech start from EUR€125 (approx. GB£111) per night on a B&B basis.
The Food...
Surrounded by jasmine and olive trees, the courtyard setting of the Saray restaurant is the perfect location for a jaw dropping buffet of both authentic Moroccan dishes as well as sumptuous international fare all housed in a traditional caidal tent-style setting.
Plus, every morning you will be greeted by a huge array of fresh food in the restaurant - we can't think of a better way to start the day, fuelling up in preparation for a day getting lost in the buzzy souks of the old city.
The Spa... O de rose, the spa and wellness centre at the Movenpick is nothing short of amazing. Acting as a sanctuary of blissed-out tranquilly, it's the compete opposite of the hustle and bustle of the city outside and uses authentic Moroccan products and ancient techniques to guarantee you'll be truly immersed. As soon as you enter the spa, you'll breathe in a calming aroma of jasmine and feel immediately at ease. Trust us, we haven't felt so relaxed in a long time.
