Milo Ventimiglia revealed a massive (and devastating) Gilmore Girls spoiler

Jess, WHY

Jess, WHY

Turn back, ye who haven’t watched the Netflix Gilmore Girls revival. Go on. We’ll wait.

Okay, now it's just all of us who had our hearts torn open by the finale, we were left with millions of questions. What’s Rory going to do now she’s pregnant? How did Lorelai react? And more importantly, who the heck knocked her up?

Well, we’re a little closer to one of those questions courtesy of Milo Ventimiglia. The Heroes actor, who played bad boy Jess Mariano in the series, admitted at a recent panel that Jess wasn’t the baby daddy.

According to Movie Pilot, Ventimiglia spilled the beans at the Heroes & Villains Fan Fest in London. He was there promoting Gotham, but naturally the conversation moved in the Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life direction.

Channelling all the bluntness of his character, he casually dropped the bombshell, ‘Just so you know, it’s not Jess’s kid.’

After ruining our hopes and dreams, he also then rubbed salt in the wound by revealing that he’s not down for another season of Gilmore Girls.

He said, ‘It was a great time. Jess was a fun character, but I always remind people that it was 16 years ago in the past. I’m very happy that the fans and the audience got those last four episodes. They should be happy with that.’

To be fair, Gilmore Girls was sixteen years ago for the cast and it’s no surprise that they’ve all moved on with their lives. Alexis Bledel’s off being a feminist icon in The Handmaid’s Tale, Jared Padalecki will probably being doing Supernatural until he dies, Matt Czurchy's just come off of a long stint on The Good Wife and Milo’s moving new show This Is Us has been renewed for a third season. (Trust us, you should watch it.)

While it’s unclear whether Gilmore Girls will get another Netflix season, we still have so many questions about the fate of Rory Gilmore and her unborn child. Now we've crossed one potential father off the list, we're racking up the names. Is the father Logan? Or is it that Wookie she had a one night stand with?
