At only 9 years old, she's New York's hottest supermodel, making about £200,000 a year starring in movies and ad campaigns.
But pretty and sophisticated self-made mini-mogul Fatima Ptacek isn't allowed to know how much money she banks. The daughter of a retired New York City detective and a former accountant who live in Queens, Fatima was discovered in 2006 at an open call by the Wilhelmina modeling agency.
She has performed in more than 50 commercials and appeared on the covers of national magazines and in advertising campaigns for Ralph Lauren, Benetton and Gap.
Not just a pretty face, Fatima studies at a school for gifted children in New York, counts US First lady Michelle Obama as a pen pal and is working on her third language.
‘She always tells us that even though she has all this money for a head start in life she is going to make sure she gets a scholarship to Yale or Harvard,' said her mother Lucia, 34. ‘And she says that one day she will be the first female president.'
