Nicki Minaj has clearly been paying close attention to the goings on at London Fashion Week as the star stepped out in some headwear set to rival Lady Gaga’s efforts Philip Treacy’s show on Sunday evening.
For Philip Treacy's spring summer 2013 catwalk show, Lady Gaga wore an impressive array of hats with the biggest (and perhaps more questionable) nod going to the floral headpiece that worked it’s way round her entire face leaving a just a small space for her features to peek through.

Keen not to be outdone by the star, Nicki Minaj tried on her own hat as she attended American Idol auditions in New York yesterday.
The Superbass singer’s headwear of choice featured a military theme with a peaked cap, large white feather and plenty of gold adornments.
Lady Gaga teamed her helmet style hat with a jade green velvet-embossed dress by Alexander McQueen. Nicki did things differently opting for a monochrome look with leather shorts worked with matching tights and high-necked blouse.
