Kathleen Saxton
Kathleen is a Global Executive, Corporate Mediator & Coach, Psychotherapist, Presenter, and
Author, with over 30 years of experience within both the media and mental health industries.
She has held leadership positions within companies such as Sky TV & Global Radio, Publicis
and Omnicom, operating at the holding company level in both London and New York, most
recently as the Global CMO at Omnicom and as Chair of TAP (acquired by IDP plc).
Kathleen founded The Lighthouse Company in 2009 (Talent Agents to the C-Suite), which
she transitioned over a decade later into the strategic advisory firm MediaLink, placing and
coaching hundreds of CEO’s around the world. She also co-founded Psyched Ventures in
2016, offering corporate and individual psychology, coaching, retreats, and performance
programmes for executives, as well as co-founding Advertising Week Europe in 2011,
bringing together the TMT community annually. Both remain successful businesses today.
She is a qualified psychotherapist and mediator and an accredited member of the UKCP,
BACP and CMC - seeing clients and patients in both London and NYC. She has authored
two books with Hachette - the bestseller My Parent the Peacock in Sept 2025 and her latest
book Sly & Mighty, releasing in Sept 2026 which focuses on Leadership Psychology. She is
the weekly on-screen psychotherapist for ITV’s This Morning, columnist for Stylist
Magazine, and contributor to The Times, The Independent, and The Guardian.
Katheen was made a Fellow of The Marketing Society in 2023, a Trustee of the NSPCC in
2024, remains a member of the UK’s WACL, NYC’s Influencers and is a regular mentor for
Speakers for Schools.
She lives in both London and NYC with her dog Humphrey and has two grown-up children
Ned and Nancy. She adores live music, especially at Ronnie Scott’s and is a flautist, a pianist
and an unexpected fan of boxing.
