Juhea was born in Incheon, Korea, grew up in the US, and has recently moved to London. She started ballet at the age of nine and like most young women, gave it up at the end of her teens, when her dreams of becoming a professional dancer faded. She took it up again during the pandemic, and hasn’t looked back, now taking classes regularly at Danceworks in Mayfair, where she discovered fellow pointe dancers in their 40s, 50s, 60s, and at least one who is 70+, which shows you can practice ballet all your life!
