Felicity Hayward
Felicity Hayward is a model, writer, author and one of the most recognisable voices in the UK’s plus-size fashion landscape. Having entered the modelling industry in 2011, she has spent 15 years documenting, questioning and challenging the way fashion represents bigger bodies.
Her work spans modelling, fashion journalism, brand consultancy and cultural commentary, with a particular focus on size diversity and the relationship between fashion and body image. Felicity has become known for bringing an insider’s perspective to conversations around representation asking not only who gets to be seen in fashion, but who gets to participate in it.
A TEDx speaker, author of Does My Butt Look Big In This, and founder of Including The Curve, a Fashion Diversity report, Felicity combines personal experience with an industry perspective, writing about everything from fashion and beauty to body confidence, culture and the politics of getting dressed as a plus size woman.
Residing by the sea in Margate, she is fond of a sequin skirt, band tee, some colourful pair of trainers and is always running around with her sidekick Matcha, a rescue French Bulldog.
