A three day Italian affair with a million dollar dress... Just dreamy.

When the heiress of the Swarovski empire gets married, you just know she’s going to have an amazing wedding dress, to top all other wedding dresses. And this million dollar beauty didn’t disappoint.
23 year-old Victoria Swarovski, one of Austria’s favourite singers and heir to the iconic crystal empire, married Werner Mürz – a dashing Munich-based entrepreneur, in a gown that is basically breaking the internet.
The wedding took place in Trieste, Italy with the couple saying their vows in the Cathedral of San Giusto in front of 250 of their closest friends and family. And it might just be the most incredible wedding we’ve EVER seen (soz, Kimye).
So back to the dress. The bespoke design was an illusion style gown from Filipino fashion designer Michael Cinco. Featuring a cool 500,000 crystals and a six metre train, rumoured to cost an eye watering sum of $1 million…
Other than the dreamy Swarovski wedding dress (that the internet is going crazy for), the lavish ceremony also included a five-tier wedding cake embellished with baby’s breath flowers.
And of course, Swarovski crystals played a huge part of the day.
The dress theme for the evening was red for girls and white for boys. Naturally Victoria Swarovski slipped out of her 46kg wedding dress, swapping it for another stunning embellished crystal dress, ready for dancing.
The celebration stretched across three days – on the backdrop if the beautiful Italian coast.
Starting the lavish weekend with a ‘pasta and love’ welcome dinner at The Piazetta at the Falisia Resort and Spa the night before the wedding. The couple also hosted a ‘farewell brunch’ the day after the ceremony.
