The raunchy tale of intern and her boss tipped to be the next big erotic fiction success
The Fifty Shades phenomenon shows no signs of abating - and now it seems there's a new raunchy rival in town.
Like EL James's bestseller, Beautiful Bastard, released today, began life as Twilight fan fiction before being snapped up by a major publisher.
And the similarities don't end there, as, like Fifty Shades, the two protagonists are a recent graduate and a successful businessman.
HOW TO WRITE YOUR OWN EROTIC FICTION
The book is written by Christina Lauren (actually two friends called Christina Hobbs and Lauren Billings) and features an inappropriate workplace love/hate relationship between intern Chloe Mills, who is working on her MBA, and her nasty boss Bennett Ryan.
Gallery Books offered Hobbs and Billings a two-book deal, with the sequel Beautiful Stranger due for release on May 28, after their original fan fiction gained two million online hits.
