Katie Price and Peter Andre granted quickie divorce in 60-second hearing

Katie Price and Peter Andre were divorced today, in a sixty-second hearing at London's High Court.

Putting an end to the bitter battle between the pair, their marriage was officially ended, four months following their split in May. Neither were in attendance.

With each blaming the other for the split, Judge Bradley granted the warring pair a decree nisi - a 'quickie' divorce - ruling their union had irretrievably ended due to each other's unreasonable behaviour.

Andre reportedly filed for divorce first, but when Price discovered his actions she also instructed her lawyers to file papers.

Speaking to The Sun, a family lawyer snitched: 'It's quite sad really and nothing more than a petty snipe from Ms Price. It's her way of saying, 'I am not allowing you to divorce me - instead I am going to divorce you.'

The feuding pair married in 2005, after meeting on 2004's I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here. They have two children together, Junior, aged four, and Princess, aged 15 months, while Price also has a seven-year-old son, Harvey, from a previous relationship.

It is believed that the pair have already agreed on joint custody of their two children, and have privately resolved all financial issues.
