Rapper Bobby Brown suffers mild heart attack
WHITNEY HOUSTON’S EX-HUSBAND Bobby Brown has suffered a mild heart attack.
Brown, 40, was rushed to hospital on Tuesday after experiencing chest pains and tingling in his arms.
By Wednesday morning, he was ‘in great spirits and had a great prognosis from his doctors’, said his representative, Phaedra Parks. She added: ‘We thank everybody for their thoughts and prayers. We really appreciate the outpouring of support.’
The former drug addict, who’s never experienced heart problems before, is scheduled to perform at the V100 Taste of Soul concert and festival in Los Angeles on 13 October and still planned to take to the stage.
‘He’s a performer, says Parks. ‘It’s what he does best.’
But Brown is obviously still bitter about his ongoing divorce with soul superstar Whitney Houston – he reportedly stuck a finger up at her in a video message he recorded while believing he was dying, according to The Sun.
He also used the recording to tell his family and current girlfriend, Alicia Etheridge, that he loved them.
