Street style: What fashion’s elite is wearing to couture week in Paris right now

When we’re not drooling over the clothes on Paris catwalk during haute couture week (or greenhouse, in the case of Christian Dior) we’ve got our beady eye on the street style going down right now. And it’s good.

Olivia Palermo was snapped in a red and white checked Christian Dior couture dress at the SS16 Schiaparelli show.

We noticed more red detailing, this time within flower patterns in blogger Ella Catliff’s cute strappy dress (and a clashing floral phone case too).

Anna Wintour’s also nodded to the floral theme in a crisp white dress that was also covered  in embroidered blooms.

The illustration on blogger Meruyert Ibragim’s jacket was of a bejewelled king covered in pearls and emeralds – and we’re going to tie our hair back just like her when the sun comes comes out (must stock up on hair bands in anticipation).

She was also snapped in a white tassled midi-length dress – with matching bright white Converse.

Elena Perminova was photographed in swathes of navy blue chiffon – which is a pretty good way to keep out the heat. She finished off her look with inky-black leather accessories.

Ece Sukan was bringing the leather, too – in a lace up leather shirt and black suede skirt, as well as black half mule heels. You can never have too much of a good thing, we say.

Daria Shapovalova wore clashing striped chiffon prints – with a boxy high waisted belt to create definition. And don’t forget the boxy bag, too.

And there was more floaty chiffon from the likes of Elina Halimi (turquoise and tiered).

White is still the order of the day – Sophie Hill showed off her back in a Ports 1961 outfit, Dior sunglasses and a Louis Vuitton bag. And we’re loving Elena Perminova’s simple white maxi dress, teamed with delicate white heels.
