A month long dose of style inspiration from the action off the runway

Another week, another city: New York, London and Milan seem but a distant memory. After dusting off their Gucci, Fendi and Prada, the style crowd have gathered their belongings and headed to Paris for the next leg of fashion shows and parties.

From all the front row action and after party specials, we follow the likes of Alexa Chung, Kate Moss and the rest of the style squad, and all of their super stylish looks.

What happened in London?

Suki Waterhouse was at the Tod’s party, Hailey Baldwin was at the Stradivarius party and Ella Eyre attended the Maison Makarem presentation at The Ritz. Plus, the highly-anticipated see-now-buy-now Burberry show was a (typically) roaring success and attended by Lily James, Cara Delevingne and Oscar-nominated actress Felicity Jones to name but three.

But what happened in NYFW?

New York Fashion Week was kicked off in glamorous style with the reopening of the Cartier Fifth Avenue mansion that played host to a star-studded party. The style set were out in full force with everyone from Leigh Lezark, Leandra Medine and Rooney Mara in attendance as well Brits Ellie Goulding and Jourdan Dunn.

Meanwhile, Tom Ford showed his autumn/winter 2016 presentation on the spring/summer 2017 calendar (he is one of the designers taking a see-now-buy-now approach to shows as well) and managed to pull a stellar crowd to the launch. Supermodel Cindy Crawford stunned in an all-white gown, whilst Alicia Keys represented the world of music. Other stars in attendance include Lauren Hutton, Julianne Moore, Hailee Seinfeld and Karlie Kloss.

Another NYFW’s big shows are always Marc Jacobs and Tommy Hilfiger which saw model-of-the-moment Gigi Hadid take centre stage, while Kendall and Kylie Jenner celebrated the launch of their pop-up and Solange Knowles wore a raspberry coloured outfit to the House of Peroni opening party.

London was suitably cool and as always built to a high fashion crescendo at the Burberry see-now-buy-now show, which also saw the Brit fashion house move their show from Kensington to Soho for the first time in years.

And now on to Paris Fashion Week which has so far seen the likes of Chanel, Dior, Stella McCartney and Givenchy showcase their new season styles and play host to a number of Hollywood stars while they’re at it.

With a month long calendar of starry events ahead make sure you bookmark this for the ultimate dose of style inspiration and in a flash, we’re suddenly already at Paris Fashion Week…
