The Oscars red carpet was, as ever, a glittering show of all the most beautiful gowns in the world, worn by all the very best of Tinseltown.
Keira Knightley looked incredible in a blush Valentino creation, while Sienna Miller went for a classic black gown by Oscar De La Renta (fresh off the AW15 catwalk from NYFW), flying the flag for the Brits, Rita Ora wowed in a navy embellished Marchesa creation while ex-Burberry model Eddie Redmayne looked suitably dapper in a bespoke Mcqueen suit.

Best Supporting Actress Patricia Arquette opted fo a striking one shoulder monochrome Rosetta Getty gown, Salvatore Ferragamo clutch matching heels.
Sienna Miller took to the red carpet looking beautiful as ever, wearing Oscar De La Renta, fresh off thr AW15 catwalk.
Brit singer and actress Rita Ora triumphed at this year’s Oscars in a stunning navy Marchesa creation, showing off all her enviable curves in the process. Top marks for the chic embellishment detailing and the slicked back hairdo.
Emma Stone looked truly incredible in this Elie Saab haute Couture gown. Slashed to the thigh Angelina Jolie-style, this gown is oh-so-elegant, without looking frumpy. We love Emma’s timeless wavvy hairdo and showstopping Christian Louboutin heels, too.
Breakthrough actress of 2015 and star of 50 Shades Of Grey, Dakota Johnson has every reason to look so relaxed and at ease on the Oscars red carpet. We love Dakota’s looked a red Saint Laurent gown and clashing red lip, plus, the subtle shoulder embellishment and delicate diamond accessories give this classic look a red carpet edge.
Cate Blanchett went off piste with her designer choice for this year’s Oscar gown, opting to wear this elegant black velvet gown, complete with frayed edging, by Maison Martin Margeila. Finishing her look and adding a much needed shot of colour, Cate went for a bold turquoise statement necklace.
Best Actress nominee Rosamund Pike was a vision in red Givenchy. Not only does this racy gown flash a bit of leg, but that nipped-in waist creates the ultimate silhouette for the red carpet, too.
Jessica Chastain worked a navy corset-style Givenchy gown for her moment on the rd carpet. Top marks for the extra sparkle, and we think Jessica totally nailed it with the drape front and thigh split detailing.
Jennifer Aniston wowed in this blush bandeau Versace number. Turning up on the arm of her oh-so-handsome fiance, Jen rocked her signature bouncy blow-dry, healthy looking Hollywood tan and some ultra-chic barely-there heels.
Jennifer Lopez did Princess-chic for her turn on the red carpet. and we think she totally nailed it. Opting for a plunging embellished creation from Elie saab, J-Lo went for a rather modern updo and paired her glowing tan with a bold pink lip. Bravo.
Lupita Nyong’o took a break from her run of bold gowns of late, opting for this showstopping white number from Calvin Klein, completing her look with some Nicholas Kirkwood heels.
Best Actress winner Julianne Moore looked incredible in her Chanel creation. Said to have taken an impressive 927 hours to make, and we reckon it was worth every single minute spent as this really is an exquisite piece of craftmanship.

Anna Kendrick went for colour for her turn on the red carpet opting for this custom made Thakoon dress, completing her look with a pair of Brian Atwood heels.
