First Lady Melania Trump was set to announce her official White House team yesterday, but according to CNN, she wasn’t able to for one simple reason: she hasn’t got around to hiring them yet.

Melania, the wife of now President Donald Trump, made her first hire this week, recruiting New York events planner and long time friend, Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, as a senior advisor and chief strategist.

In order to fulfil her duties as FLOTUS, however, she needs to start filling her other senior positions – and fast.

The jobs going are press secretary, social secretary, director of communications and chief of staff – four key White House roles that really should be filled by now - it is the Trump family's second week in office.

Unlike former First Lady Michelle Obama, Melania will not be moving to Washington, instead choosing to stay in New York with her son Barron until he completes his school year. She will, however, be commuting to Washington to keep on top of her FLOTUS commitments, which right now includes interviewing for her senior positions with the help of her new senior advisor Stephanie Winston Wolkoff.

We’re anxious to see who Melania hires next for team FLOTUS. Twitter users seem to think Kanye West could even be a contender for social secretary so we have no idea what to think.
