Maison Martin Margiela for H&M has finally arrived in its signature volumous form, and we’re not just talking about the clothes.
Fans queued up outside the flagship store at 5am, just as Twilight fans did yesterday for the premiere of the final film. To prevent mayhem at the store’s doors, shoppers were handed coloured wristbands and had a set time frame in which they could shop.
The pressure was on to bag their favourite pieces, and no doubt elbows were sharpened. Although morale was boosted thanks to H&M emerging with coffees contained in cups bearing Maison Martin Margiela’s numerical motif.
The collection features bold outerwear in exaggerated shapes alongside futuristic metallic looks.
