Sugababe Amelle Berrabah goes missing after fight with bandmate Keisha

Sugababes star Amelle Berrabah went missing for days following a fight with a bandmate, prompting her family to call in police over fears she'd been kidnapped.

The singer disappeared and was not answering phone calls from her management after she apparently had a 'massive row' with bandmate Keisha Buchanan.

Amelle, 25, also failed to appear at a nightclub gig and was absent from several public appearances.

Her family were so worried they filed a missing persons report with local police when they failed to contact her after several days.

Amelle was eventually tracked down at her home in Aldershot, North London.

She reassured officers she was safe, but was reeling from her row with Keisha, 24.

A friend told the Sun, 'She is deeply unhappy at the moment and is scared of Keisha.

'She still loves the band and the last thing she wants to do is quit. But the problem needs to be addressed because she feels she is being bullied.'

Tensions in the band are said to have become strained after Amelle's collaboration with Tinchy Stryder, Never Leave You, reached number one.

'Keisha is very dominating, while Amelle is quite placid,' adds the friend.

The band is due to fly to America next week to start shooting their new video.

Amelle's sister told the paper she would be going to the States and had simply been avoiding the limelight as she's been battling tonsillitis.
