Harvey Weinstein marries Georgina Chapman, at lavish celeb-filled ceremony
Hollywood movie mogul Harvey Weinstein married Marchesa designer Georgina Chapman this weekend, in a lavish ceremony at their Connecticut home.
A month after Weinstein proposed, the couple were married on Saturday night, with the groom in a Tom Ford tuxedo and the bride in one of her own designs, described by a guest as a 'stunning, pleated ivory tulle gown,' and Christian Louboutin shoes. Chapman's Marchesa co-founder Keren Craig acted as maid of honour.
The toast of the fashion world were out in force with Anna Wintour, Natalia Vodianova, Margherita Missoni, Helena Christensen, Jacquetta Wheeler and Rachel Zoe all in attendance, while Weinstein invited plenty of his Hollywood friends including Renée Zellweger, Naomi Watts, Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony, Anne Hathaway and Cameron Diaz.
Food and cocktails were courtesy of the teams from Cipriani and Nobu, and live music came from the Gypsy Kings. The spectacular event ended with a stunning waterfront fireworks display.
The couple met in 2005, and this is Weinstein's second marriage.
