Our Queen is now officially 90 and to celebrate, the entire Royal Family turned out in their brightest, most beautiful outfits to mark the occasion over the weekend. These are the key looks you need to know about…

The Queen in Stewart Parvin A trio of neon outfits for one’s birthday? You bet. The boldest however, has to be her highlighter green Stewart Parvin ensemble – in Pantone shade #75e41b, to be precise. Worn for the Trooping The Colour ceremony on Saturday, it was impossible to miss Her Majesty in the thousand-strong crowds. Well she does have to be seen to be believed, after all.

Duchess Kate in Alexander McQueen It’s well documented that the Duchess likes to recycle her favourite looks – and big occasions like Trooping The Colour are, for her, as good a time as any to showcase her thriftiness. Cue this Alexander McQueen coat dress, last seen at Princess Charlotte’s christening, which the Duchess updated with new pearls and a hat by Philip Treacy.

Princess Charlotte in Amaia Kids Is this Princess Charlotte’s new favourite label? We’re not really sure if she’s got an opinion, yet, but we sure have seen her in a lot of designs by Amaia Kids. For her royal balcony debut, Charlotte looked adorable in a baby pink dress and hair bow by the childrenswear label.

Duchess Kate in Catherine Walker For the thanksgiving service at St Paul’s Cathedral on Friday, Kate had a coat custom-made by one of her favourite designers – Catherine Walker. In china blue, the design featured elaborate white embroidery down the centre and Kate teamed it with her go-to nude courts.

Duchess Kate in Roksanda Kate toned it down a tad for the patron’s lunch street party, ditching the fascinators and wearing a pastel colour-block Roksanda dress with a soft quiff hairstyle.

Princess Beatrice in Burberry Princess Beatrice’s coat got Twitter talking, as commentators compared her look to everything from a Storm Trooper to a skeleton fancy dress costume. The monochrome number was, however, hand-embroidered by the Burberry design team and, we think, was a striking but solid choice for the grand occasion – Friday’s thanksgiving service at St Paul’s.

The Queen in Angela Kelly At the Patron’s Lunch on Sunday, The Queen chose a fuchsia two piece by Angela Kelly.

Teamed with pearls, an ornate brooch and a classic hat, it was all very Chanel AW16, we thought.
