Gigi and Bella’s Brother Anwar Hadid Has Signed A Modelling Contract

Is there are a more beautiful family than the Hadids? No, probably not.

Sisters, Gigi Hadid and Bella Hadid have been making major waves in the fashion industry over the past two years, but now their little brother Anwar Hadid is following in their (perfectly pedicured) footsteps.

The 16-year-old has signed to IMG Models – the same agency that his sisters belong to, plus modelling heavyweights, Karlie Kloss and Lara Stone, too. We expect Christmas presents from the agency will be in the form of glossy family photo albums of glossy manes and potentially even glossier pouts.

Anyway...

Mum Yolanda Foster shared the news on her social media channels with the hashtag #SummerJobsComingUp which sure does beat the job we had cleaning out a cattery at 16.

Anwar hasn’t made his catwalk debut yet, but has already landed a number of notable modelling jobs, having already showcased his looks in Nylon and L’Uomo Vogue.

Speaking to Nylon in September, Anwar spoke of the important role his big sisters and mum have played in his life.

“My family is my foundation. My sisters are awesome; they probably taught me everything I ever need to know about girls. My mom is very liberal, but also old-fashioned when it comes to manners. She taught me to always be kind and treat others with respect.”

As for what he’s into, Anwar likes the regular teenage boy things, “anything from cars, girls, really good food…” and um, some of the not-so-regular, “and climbing mountains.”

So get ready people, we’re about to have the male division of the Hadid clan taking over our catwalks and billboards. We’re pretty excited…
