Angelina Jolie has relocated to Australia to work on her latest film, Unbroken, where she's been pictured taking charge on set.

Brad Pitt’s multi-talented other half looks in her element on location as she settles into directing and producing the epic drama flick.

And as much as we loving watching Ange on screen (because we really do), it’s totally inspiring to see her calling the shots to actors Domhnall Gleeson and Finn Wittrock here.

The behind-the-scenes photos capture Angelina in the midst of the film’s most dramatic scenes, shooting on location in the choppy seas of Australia’s Moreton Bay.

Unbroken follows the life of Olympian and war hero Louis “Louie” Zamperini, played by former Skins actor Jack O’Connell, who, along with two other crewmen, survived in a raft for 47 days after a near-fatal place crash.

Already adapted in a bestselling book by Laura Hillenbrand, Louie’s story promises to be inspiring and heart wrenching when it hits the big screen. And you just know Ange will do a great job of this fascinating real-life tale.

The first look pictures also hint at the tense scenes set to unfold, as Ange directs her cast from the edge of a boat bobbing alongside the single raft.

Angelina recently introduced us to the man behind the harrowing story, posting a heartwarming photo of herself with Louie.

I am deeply honoured to have the chance and will do all I can to bring Louie’s inspiring story to life. Everyone involved in the film shares this deep responsibility. Like all readers of Laura’s book and all people who love and admire Louie, I am a fan who has learned so much. He has made me a better person,’ she said.

We can't wait to watch it.
