The actress has lost her long flowing locks in favour of a shoulder-length look

 Jennifer Lawrence stole all the headlines this weekend as she sported a new short hair style at the GLAAD Media Awards in LA on Saturday evening proving it’s not just her acting that’s award-winning – her beauty is too.

JENNIFER LAWRENCE NAMED IN TIME 100’S INFLUENTIAL PEOPLE LIST

To make her mark on the red carpet, Jennifer Lawrence debuted a new bob cut at the event giving her a deciedly grown up look that only served to frame her flawless features. The cut, fell just above the shoulders with delicate waves and a few textured flicks.

For a final finish The Hunger Games star had a slight fringe and some warm honey-blonde highlights throughout and plenty of lift at the roots.

To showcase her new ‘do, Jennifer Lawrence wore a black dress by David Koma with a skater skirt and sheer detail adding a playful element to the look. She added Nicholas Kirkwood heels with jewels from David Webb.

The GLAAD media awards celebrates outstanding images and coverage of LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) people. The gala held at the J.W Marriott hotel was hosted by Drew Barrymore and drew a host of showbiz names including Charlize Theron and Kirsten Dunst.

Jennifer Lawrence has been fast becoming a hair colour chameleon turning to the dark side in both The Hunger Games trilogy and Silver Linings Playbook she’s seen on screen with long brunette hair.
