Beyonce hasn’t allowed fame and fortune to get to her as she reveals how she sees herself

Beyonce has continued to fly the flag for independent women everywhere as she opens up about how her identity is intrinsically wrapped around being female but a sexy, smart and powerful one at that.

BEYONCE TO APPEAR ON THE GREAT GATSBY SOUNDTRACK

Despite her stunning looks, amazing ability on the stage and in front of a microphone, Beyonce still doesn’t see what her millions of fans do – it appears she may need a new mirror!

The singer has dubbed herself ‘just a woman’ before quickly quantifying what it means saying she loves her gender but what frustrates her is the sexist idea that women can’t be both physically attractive and intelligent.

BEYONCE: I’VE ALWAYS WANTED TO BE A QUEEN

It’s this sexist belief and other anti-femist ideas that get Beyonce going, as she continued to stress that equality is being ‘pushed aside’ and the inequalities for women is something we’re ‘conditioned to accept.’

But not during Queen Bey’s reign! She calls herself a ‘modern-day feminist’, which comes as not surprise but is certainly welcome. The singer stresses how married life has made her ‘more bold and more fearless’ and that she’s now got a greater sense of purpose on having daughter Blue Ivy.

And that makes her just an (absolutely amazing) women to us!
