Robert Pattinson’s latest role sees him show off a more vulnerable side

Recent Robert Pattinson news has circulated around him being separated from Kristen Stewart while he films The Rover in Australia, but as the movie wraps we’ve been treated to a new snap of the star in character as more about his role is revealed.

The new image of Robert on set provides a snapshot into the gritty storyline that’s set in the future where humanity is almost absent. This picture sees Robert Pattinson’s flawless face covered in blood as his co-star Guy Pearce points a gun at him.

While it couldn’t be further from Twilight, Robert’s character, Reynolds appears just as complex as the The Rover’s director, David Michôd, revelead what we can expect.

He told Entertainment Weekly: The basic story is really quite elemental, you’ve got a really dark, dangerous, murderous person in Guy’s character, and in Rob’s character you have a quite troubled and damaged, but beautiful and naïve, soul.’

Sounds interesting!

Although to find out more we’ll have to wait until next year for it to hit cinemas.
