The prestigious awards are regarded as a precursor to the Oscars, with Golden Globe winners often going on to nab an Academy Award too. The 2013 line-up of nominees features a less traditional set of stars with more mature actors and actresses dominating the lists although the likes of Emily Blunt, Jennifer Lawrence and Anne Hathaway represent the younger generations.
