Cheryl Cole’s X Factor lawsuit details revealed, including £62,00 clothing allowance

Cheryl Cole’s legal documents show she was promised perks including a £9,000 hotel budget and £16,000 stylist

Cheryl Cole has already put the X Factor sacking saga behind her, but her lawyers will ensure at least her bank balance (and no-doubt Simon Cowell) will remember it for a long time.

Legal documents from the star’s lawsuit against X Factor US producers, Blue Orbit, have been obtained and show a sensational set of claims that Cheryl is seeking compensation for. These include £62,000 for a designer wardrobe and £16,000 to pay for a stylist to make the clothes look even more beautiful!

The papers itemise extravagant extras she was promised as part of the deal for being a judge on the talent show and include costs for first class air travel, hotels as well as a generous living allowance.

Alongside her lavish $1.8 million (£1million) salary, which Cheryl received, the singer claims producers failed to honour another agreement where they would pay for extras worth $142,500 (£88,000) and on top of that they allegedly promised to settle her security bill.

Cheryl is now suing Blue Orbit for $2.3million (£1.4million) for breach of contract and claims she was promised free first class travel from London to LA and the production company would also pay for three of her staff to fly economy.

She is still awaiting payment for season two of X Factor $2million (£1.2million) – something she was also offered when signing up for the show regardless of whether she appeared on screen.

Cheryl’s legal team claims Blue Orbit did not pay for the following promised extras:

$100,000 (£62,000) wardrobe allowance $25,000 (£16,000) stylist allowance $15,000 (£9,000) per month hotel allowance $2,500 (£1,500) per month living allowance
